Honda Shine Features

The Honda Shine looks just like the old Honda CB Shine 125. However, it doesn’t have some modern features like a fancy LED headlight or a fully digital display. The instrument panel is quite simple, with just two round dials that show basic information like speed, odometer, and fuel level. The good news is that it now comes with an engine kill switch, which was missing on the older Honda CB Shine.

Honda Shine Engine Specifications

The Honda Shine comes with a powerful 124cc engine that’s fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly. It shares this engine with the Honda SP 125 and has features like a silent starter and a smooth five-speed gearbox. The engine is BS6.2 (OBD2)-compliant, making it compliant with the latest emission standards. It delivers a strong performance of 10.7PS power and 11Nm torque, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride. Additionally, it includes Honda’s ACG (alternator current generator) technology for a quiet and hassle-free start.

Honda Shine Suspension and Brakes

The Honda Shine keeps the same strong diamond frame as the older model. It also keeps the familiar telescopic fork and twin rear shocks that you can adjust for better comfort. You have two choices for the front brake: a 240mm disc or a 130mm drum brake. The rear brake is a standard 130mm drum. Both versions come with CBS for added safety.
