The M-16 was a rifle that was introduced in early 1960s. It was issued with plenty of rumors & came without cleaning kits. Upper Receiver & Barrel Assembly

Sights

The M16 carry handle further encompasses a mounting groove interface and a hole in the bottom of the handle groove for mounting a Colt 3×20 telescopic sight; with bullet drop compensation altitude adjustment knob for a range of 100-500 yards. This emulates the maximum effective range of 503 yards for the M16A2 and earlier. The Colt 3×20 telescopic sight is calibrated for parallax-free at 200 yards.
Design
The M16 is a lightweight air-cooled, gas-fired, magazine assault rifle that features a rotating bolt. The m16a1 lower receiver is assembled from 7075 aluminum alloy, the barrel, bolt, and bolt carrier are steel, and the handguard, pistol grip and stock are made from plastic. The M16a1 internal piston action originates from the ArmaLite AR-10 and ArmaLite AR-15 actions.
