Tata Nexon EV Motor and Range
The Tata Nexon EV comes in two choices for batteries. One has a smaller 30 kWh battery and an electric motor that can produce 129 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque. This version claims to be able to drive up to 325 kilometers on a single charge. The other option has a bigger 40.5 kWh battery paired with an electric motor that can generate 144 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque. This version boasts a claimed range of up to 465 kilometers on a full charge.
Tata Nexon EV Charging
Charging the Tata Nexon EV is made convenient with multiple options available. Using the Portable Charger, it takes approximately 10.5 hours to fully charge from 0% to 100% for the Medium Range variant and around 15 hours for the Long Range model. Alternatively, employing the 7.2 kW AC Fast Charger significantly reduces charging time, taking only about 4.3 hours for the Medium Range and approximately 6 hours for the Long Range from 0% to 100%. For even faster charging, the DC Fast Charger is the ideal choice, taking approximately 56 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% for both Medium and Long Range versions. These various charging options offer flexibility to suit different needs and preferences, ensuring hassle-free charging experiences for Tata Nexon EV owners.
